Could be. I understand your dilemma trying to be accurate. I have found that sometimes the only thing to do is step by step look at and fix each possible problem and any problems you find while checking them as specific diagnosis is not always easy w/o doing something. I second Brian In Tuscan, you should coat eachplug wire connection with dielectric grease to seal it if that works you've fixed it. If not you can change the wires, cap, rotors and coil. I did all that at the same time on mine. If that doesn't work????

Knoxy_14 - that's always a possibility. I was doing some "Justin Case" stuff last tuneup (I mean, 260K+ miles on the ORIGINAL coil??) and found my coil was cracked - which was probably one of my intermittent misfires (probably because, along with new wires to replace the ones melted when the injector quit firing due to the ECM failing, and the new plugs due to the old ones being sooted up, it's hard to say ...).

BIG note - whereas there's nothing wrong with shopping, don't cheap out. That is, find a good quality one and price shop on that brand and model, instead of just buying the cheapest one you can find.

Also, grab a new condensor (the cylinder mounted at the coil). THAT could even be failing with age.

Soak it real good with a hose while its cold and parked at your house. Then see if that prevents a start.
