I have to replace the timing chain gasket on my truck. Wondering if any of you guys can give me some info/tips to do this. About 1.5 yrs ago i replaced the water pump and wanted to do the timing chain gasket but could not the harmarnic balancier off. Going to buy a air gun and sockets to do this. How hard will this be -whole thing? It is a full size truck 1988 (i know this is a Dakota page but same motor) and no one on full size truck page has helped. Non a/c and does have P.S. The water pump was replaced and then a few months later the timing chain cover leaked and got fixed. Shop told me about 4- 4.5 hrs. Will i need a new water pump gasket? The parts store and mechanic said no? thanks
