Default 95 dakota coil problem?

I just bought a 95 Dakota with the v6 was running ok took it for a drive after I bought it. Turned it off at the part store wouldn't start back up, pulled it to the house and had no spark at the plugs. Disconnected the coil to test and had 10.8v at green wire with red stripe. Plugged it back in and had power to the plug and started right up any suggestions on what it could be can't really troubleshoot anymore now that it's running?

Could be the infamous 3 wire splice under the power distribution box on the front left fender. You have to cut the wrap and dig into the bundle of wires. Look for 3 red wires (w/blue stripe if I remember right) spliced together they are known to corrode or break at the splice and these provide power to the coil threw the auto shut down relay. I believe there is also a write up under the FAQ section also with pics.
