As far as rpm's goes my 93 5.2 auto w/od is at 12-1300 rpm's at 60 with the od kicked in. Before I got the tranny replaced it was at 22-2300 rpm's at 60mph. it has 31 10.50 15 and 3.55 rears.

Distilled water. Awesome.

I see you're in Canada - so I don't know what grocery options you have... But I found my distilled H2O at the grocery store - right there next to the bottled drinking water... Krogers, Wal Mart, Tom Thumb, etc, etc... I think it was under $1 per gallon (at Wal Mart).

Any grocery store should have gallon jugs of it. That's what I've always used. I think rainwater is the next best option... anything else has too many minerals in it. I've seen a lot of vehicles and tractors with mineral deposits everywhere in the cooling system from not using distilled water. Regular water is okay for emergencies.

Harmony, Your OD is not the problem it is your fan clutch. Mine did the same thing when I first bought it and I thought I was redlining it and the tach was wrong. Turned out I just needed to change the fan clutch now the problem is all gone. As for the rpm's I have 3.90 gears and @ 60 i'm running around 2000 rpm.

Ya. I bet its in most stores.
I suppose regular water does have minerals and after 20yrs something may build up. Good deal you fixed your issue.
