95 Dodge Dakota Rollover Valve hep urgent
I have a 95 dodge dakota 3.9 v6 and well the fuel pump went out and when trying to take off the house to the rollover valve that sits on top of the fuel pump broke and I didn't think much of it cause I thought the new fuel pump would come with one, well I found out they don't and finding the part well it's back ordered and idk if they will ever make it again, What I was trying to find out though is can I use another rollover valve from a 90 to 98 possibly on this truck or any truck that has the same fuel tank underneath

so this valve this doorman valve will work as long as I get a different hose to splice into the other vacuum hose, If so they have the part here at the local autozone for not much at all, I need to be sure this will fit our 95 dodge dakota before I go out spending more money on something I really don't know, The link you posted the user has a 96 dakota which they run a different fuel pump, I believe the only ones that run the same fuel pump as our year is 94, I also dont have the other valve that was originally was on that part was destroyed trying to remove the sucker from the pump and thrown out, Can I just use this valve without having to do no mods to the valve itself or what is it I need to do exactly

Alright guys I have finally finished this up and well it didn't start up right away but an hour later after dumping a tiny bit a fuel in the intake it started up and has kept on starting up with no HICK, I can't believe it worked, also for anyone going this route you must remove both the metal clip and the orange O Ring that comes on part 911-001 and it will go in there without a hitch fits snugly on the fuel pump, When you mount the tank back into position there is no way for that valve to accidentally pop out cause it sits against the bottom of the bed, Thank you all so so much for the help dearly the help that I needed, now for the thermastat and blower motor for the heater and ac
