So, i have a 95 dakota 5.2L. My dad was using it to tow his pontoon boat, and on the way back home from the lake, he said the truck was acting like it was out of gas, then it died on him. The truck would crank but not start.

After doing some research on here, i went and diagnosed it, and it turned out being the Ignition Coil. Replaced the coil an hour ago, and the truck starts up like a champ.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the people before me that have had similar problems, because doing a quick search on these forums told me exactly what i needed to do to properly diagnose the problem. The information on previous threads were exactly the information i was needing.

Thank all of you that have had similar problems, and to the ones giving very helpful suggestions!! A quick search in the threads can save a lot of time!
