I just bought a pair off the internet and it said they would fit my dodge dakota sport i just got them today and open them up and went out side and tore one of the headlights out and these head lights are way to small i measured them and the ones that was shipped to me were 4X6 and the ones in my dakota are 4 1/2 by 8 1/2 or something close to that so if anyone could please point me in the right direction to get a nice clear glass set for my truck i would really apperciate it thanks.

 

the old 4X6 was from older Dakota's pre 91 .. 91 up has a assembly with bulb were the older was sealed beam ..

plastic what plastic is... im yet to find anything unless custom DIY setup that wasn't OEM look and design

 

If it's a 1995, unless you can find someone to make them for you, it'll be plastic.

The glass, as 92DakotaClub said, was for 1987-1990 although most cross refs also list 1991-1995.

I'd check RockAuto - for the 1995, they do list both the 9004 and the 4666 as possible bulbs. And even better, they list http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...parttype=10762 the Aero composite plastic units.

actually the old style sealbeams were available in Canada anyway past 91, ive seen a 93 with sealbeams.. almost bought it since it had a clean 5.2 in it the front looks a little different due to the stretch then the older 87-90 style with flatter nose but I kinda liked the old look of the sealed beams
