Help: Misplaced Rocker Arms Order
I recently decided to overhaul my 95 Dakota V6 engine because of the extreme oil gunk there was, thanks to the previous owner who never changed the oil.
I am ready to install the heads, but it looks like I got the rockers misplaced in the wrong order.
What worries me the most is some curved lines on the rocker made by a through-bolt bracket. They come in pairs of two, and the lines go from narrow to wide, and the other goes from wide to narrow. I am not sure how to assemble it. Does the narrow to wide rocker go on the left, and wide to narrow on the right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Its not really going to hurt if you don't put them back exactly in the same spot they came off of. just make sure you torque them all down to spec. however, make sure that those grooves line up properly. that's for oiling because of how they pivot.
