I have a 1989 Dakota and the hood will not open. I had it open earlier that day. I went to pull the latch under the dash and there was no tension on it at all. Ive tried pounding on the hood with my hand, trying to move it up and down but got nowhere. I looked behind the grill but couldnt see the latch just the release you pull up on after its pooped up. If someone could please help me it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
