Default 318 reaching 125.000 miles...? is there something unusual I should take care of..?

Hey rockers

..have anī96 5.2 (magn) automatic that reached 125.000 miles recently, thought I might throw in a question about possible awareness at that mileage..?

Oil, filter, plugs, COPS or wires (depending on how it's wired), and - oh, yeah, listen carefully to the timing chain.

Otherwise, keep an eye on it and keep on truckin'!

Pay close attention to the transmission. Any noises or slippage in reverse, even a time lag before reverse engages and your trans is near death.

There is no help available.

Keep up the routine maintenance, and you should be good to go. Also like mentioned above, keep an eye out on the transmission. It should be good for another 125K if you maintain it, and don't beat on it too hard.
