Default '91 Dakota 3.9: Intermittent starting/dies while driving

Ok, so update, after getting it towed home lastnight the truck started right up this morning, while test driving it however, it randomly died. I stopped. cranked the key and it fired right up again. Does anyone know what this could be?

all i know is my 90 did similar to what you are describing in the end it was the hall effect pickup in the distributor. may or may not be your issue. many other issues to check that i don't know about, am sure someone will chime in with other options.

RESOLVED: After doing some research I seen that the wire splices near the relay box are a common issue for these trucks. Sure enough I wiggle the bundle around and the truck shuts off. I'm gonna go through the harness and check for bad connections and corrosion.
