hard bed liner fitment ?

I have a guy interested in buying my hard plastic liner from my '97 (gen 2) ,
he has a '96 (gen 1 ) both are 6 1/2' beds. Will it fit ?

In short, I'm pretty sure it will not. The beds are not 100% the same shape. But if your liner is out already and his bed has none at the moment, its worth a test fit to see!
