Rusty lower exhaust new exhaust questions.
Right after my cat the muffler and lower pipes were very rusty. Took them off to avoid them poppin' off on the highway and I expect that my cat is clogged.
Question is my options with a new "system". Trying to save $$$. My O2 sensor seems to be ON the cat, in the middle, not before or after. Will straightpiping cause me to lose mileage? Am I better off just buying a new cat?
