Question NP231D vs NP231J Rebuild Kit

So I'm still working on my 94 Dakota Crawler Hauler and I figured the T-Case needed a rebuild as it was leaking but none of the local big box stores carry the NP231D full bearing and seal rebuild kits. Online is just as hard to find it seems.I did find that the NP231D (Dodge) and NP231J (Jeep) are very similar except the Chain and Sprockets. It would seem the 231D is a stronger case with wider chain and sprocket than the smaller 231J. The question is since I can mainly find the 231J rebuild kits, will all the seals and bearings from front to back work on the 231D or can someone point me to a source to purchase the right kits?

I have a question for you... It looks like you have done some comparison on the 231D and the 231J. My question to you is will the extension housing on the output shaft interchange? They both have 3 bolts and look to be the same length. I recently cracked mine and looking for a replacement.
