Default heads up fuel pump auto zone

Just a heads up don't expect auto zone fuel pumps to last more then 10 years. The brush's on the level sensor on the pump I bought in 2006 have almost completely worn away. At first my low fuel light stopped working then my my fuel gauge would start fluctuating more then normal.

10 years for an Airtex? You're lucky.

Yeah that's not bad at all. Better than I would have expected.

I don't expect anything I buy at Auto Zone to last anywhere near 10 years.

Default auto zone

The clutch kit I bought has lasted more then 10 years and still going strong. Water pumps I have gone through three already. I have a starter that is over 10 years old and still working. It seems hit or miss on duralast stuff. The only thing that did not have a lifetime warranty was the fuel pump. The brush's for the level sending unit did not seem to be very good quality on the pump assembly.
