Default torsion bar

is there a way to find out if my torsion bar are finish ? i changed my front shock last week but my dakota is still way too soft when i hit a bump...a guy at work told me too look for the torsion bar but i dont know what to look for...any help would be good

k found a video telling me what to look for and they are finish but now my problem is to find some...nobody is selling that ? cant find on any website ...anyone know where i could get that or its dealer only ?

Im pretty sure you would have to get torsion bars from an autowrecker. Better to buy them in a pair. Also the v6 torsion bars are not as strong as the v8 torsion bars.
You should get an alignment after you replace the bars.

just came back from a scrap yard they had one and was exactly like mine ...dont know if their dead or if the truck is normaly soft like that...my s10 was way more stiff
