Default Engine Loping at low speeds

Hello,

I have a '96 Dakota, 5.2L
For awhile now, when I am going stop light to stop light, if I am not careful and I pull my foot off the gas too quickly, the engine will lope and die. After it does this I sometimes have a little trouble starting it back up without giving it a little gas, and keeping my foot on the gas until it evens out. At higher speeds it does not lope when letting off the gas. I have cleaned the air filter and replaced the TPS, ERG valve, and IAC. The IAC seemed to help for awhile, but it is now worse than ever. I work from home and therefore do not drive it alot, but would love to figure this out so it is more reliable. By the way, no check engine light at the moment. Thanks!

Have you cleaned the throttle body? Also check the cable that goes from the throttle body to the trans if you have an auto. Make sure the lever on trans moves freely and the spring returns it all the way back.

Also, walk ALL your vacuum lines as far as you possibly can.

You may have a cracked T or vacuum line and that'll cause idle problems.

In addition, check the PCV valve.
