The sensor is set up a couple inches away from the trans. and is attached at the base with a gasket. My question was what is this part called that holds my speed sensor in place and could another speed sensor work? The speed sensor is held on with one bolt and at the base attached to the transmission is another base with a single bolt holding it all on/in.
