Exclamation IAT Sensor Causing A No Start??

I have been having complications with my truck, since it will not start. I pretty much checked every sensor and mechanical problem. I was wondering if the IAT sensor that goes in the intake manifold could cause a no start?

The engine was overhauled because there was very thick walls of oil gunk. I cleaned the intake manifold with water and soap. Could the IAT sensor be blocked and dirty and cause the car to crank but not start?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
