I replaced the door with one from the junkyard, probably a different year. I pulled the harness out of the old door and reinstalled it into the new one, along with the door liner. The window plug was the same type, but I had to cut the lock plug off and solder it on to the harness. The wire colors matched, though.
But the polarities are reversed. And it's not that the switches are upside down - the driver's door switches also run the window the wrong way, and the driver's lock goes up when the passenger's goes down. It's no big deal to switch the wires to the lock, though I don't know why I have to since the colors match - but what's up with the windows?? Did Dodge switch polarities on different years, or is there some user operation I need to do??
