Umm ... If they didn't have different plates and a different internal size, they wouldn't be an upgrade, right?

What year and what motor throttle bodies are you looking at?

It should be an early Magnum V8 throttle body.

Try and keep your threads together. You said you already have a V8 TB on it in this thread which will now be closed.

Bolting on a bigger TB will do nothing for you. As I asked in your other thread, what are you trying to accomplish?

i was reffering to different throttle cable plates where the cables attach the v8 bodies have larger throttle bores and i would need to enlarge mine when i modify my intake

I'm sure you have a clear image in your head, but what came out on the screen is ... rambling, confusing, and just plain does not make sense.

Let's see if I can figure it out.

1) So the V8 throttle body is bigger? That's the main thrust, being bigger it takes less throttle to get the same air flow resulting in better throttle response. Is it too big for the V6 intake? Dunno, but if it is, then yes you have to enlarge the opening.

2) However, without other improvements, it won't make much if any difference at WOT due to the motor limiting elsewhere. OTOH, if it does help, then that's great.
