Default Help with my headlights

I've looked all over this forum and cannot seem to find anyone with the same headlight problem as me. I have a 94 dakota with the 5.2. So, a few months ago I had a headlight go out. So naturally I replaced both headlight bulbs. After doing this I noticed that my brights indicator was stuck on. Also, my regular beams became EXTREMELY weak. So weak that I can barely see driving at night. All my other lights still work. I replaced the headlight bulbs again and still have the same problem. A month later I replaced my headlight switch, which was bad, but did not solve the problem of my brights indicator or my weak regular beams. When it comes to electrical I'm pretty much lost. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks.

Check for corrosion in the sockets.

You've lost the ground on one or both sides.

Check your wiring from the socket back to the ground point, and fix it.

Or, you bought 9007s when you use 9004s or vice versa ...
