Default Vacuum hose mystery,

Recently stumbled across thin in my vacuum lines, any idea what it should connect too?

I think its for the Evap canister. What does the vacuum diagram say In the engine compartment?

Looks to me like part of the purge line, but its not connected to the purge solenoid. It may be the portion of the line that goes to the charcoal canister? What year is your truck?

Ok, the port on the throttle body where the vacuum hose comes off is used for purging the charcoal (evap) canister. There is a check valve in that line which you can see a little further down, its black and white. This line should "T" into a line that leads to the purge solenoid, a black plastic valve with 3 nipples on it. I can see a small plastic line leaving the plastic connector at the end of the hose in question, where is that going (maybe to the purge solenoid)? If I'm right, the plastic connector at the end of the line should connect to the charcoal can.

Got it, was a connection to the evap canister. It was lodged behind the mess of the spark plug wires
