Default Flames out exhaust!?

Hows everyone doing? So just put autolite 3923 plugs in and fired it up, has old gas probably 6months old cause i havent touched it much, its shooting flames out the tail pipe amd popping at idle. Have changed iac, crank cam sensor intake and plenum. Now it has a coupling in ypipe right under tranny and i believe its sucking in air where its so close to manifolds causing constant popping. You guys know more about magnums them me. Its 92 5.2 134xxx miles thank you

Fix that exhaust leak.

IF the O2s are working, it'll be sucking extra air in, so it'll be running rich, so ...

Also, if you haven't done the O2s, try those along with sealing that exhaust up.

That plenum, if it's got oil in it, isn't going to help it any due to ITS vacuum leak; but yah, things that directly affect it, get those first *grins*

To me, sounds like 2 or 4 plugs are crossed. When I swapped in my headers I had 6 crossed by mistake. Swapped two, and it ran, but sounded like the headers were leaking. Swapped two more and it was better but still popped. Swapped the last two I had crossed and all was fine.

So, yes, your v8 will run with 4 plug wires crossed. I'd check that. Just to make sure.
