Default Mmm.. That's nice!

Picked this up today for a song. The red truck isn't mine but shows what it kinda looks like in the truck. Got the bumper and lower valance with it too.

Now I'll be selling my chrome brush guard and this bumper and valance since I already have a nice front bumper and fog light valance.

And they say things are hard to find for these trucks. Pfffts. Just gotta look and be willing to drive.

That hardly makes for a pretty face but damn, that's exactly what I want. Very utilitarian. Funny because as of today I'm actually welding up a light bar/winch mount using some steel tubing I found in the woods. It's a bit rusted and pitted but I think it's gonna come out alright...a nice hammered finish...err... we'll see after paint. I just took a break but I'll be back at it.

Honestly don't know how you find this stuff. I peruse Craigslist almost daily and never find things like this. Compared to pretty much every other small pickup out there, 1st gen Daks have VERY little aftermarket support.

I have an auto search set up on craigslist for about 10-12 different cities. 3-4 hour radius every direction.

I've never seen a brush gaurd like this for any truck that has cut outs on the uprights and that winch plate seems a little odd. It almost looks homemade but then again its pretty good for being home made. I'm not even sure its for a Dakota. But someone made it work perfect for a Dakota.

And next week I might be picking up a set of nice aftermarket 15" wheels for 6x4.5 for $80 just to hoard.
