Default '93 Dakota motor 318

Put 318 into '89 Jeep Wrangler. Had it running for 3 weeks after changing out ECU. Due to loose internal parts. I have spark to body on plugs, injector spark, have 40psi on fuel gauge. New mass sensor, New fuel regulator. Put in new crank sensor when installed motor. Put in new plugs after install. Getting fuel to plugs. Throttle position getting Voltage. Won't start with starting fluid. I'm thinking ECU went bad again. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the 318, but if the ecu failed twice, I'd be checking the wiring harness for shorts, and look for any blown fuses.. but I'm pretty sure you already know this.

I take it the engine and harness came from a 93> what flywheel/flexplate did you use? if one from a 6, then no, it won't run.
