Default ?'s about front clip swopping

I have a 91 Dakota 2wd w/ a 3.9 that I have recently wrecked. The roof and bed side is smashed down but my front clip is in perfect condition. I"m buying a 88-90 Dakota 4x4 w/ a 5.2 that needs a front clip due to rust. Will I have any problems switching the 91 front end onto the the older truck? I was also looking to change interiors but some of my plastic on the pillars broke. Where can I find replacement parts? The older truck is missing some of the same parts. I was also wondering if my steering column is different in my 2wd compared to the 4x4. I would like to replace the fixed column for with a tilt. If anybody has tempted this before or has any idea I"m open for suggestions. Thanks
