Default 95 Dakota v6 5speed ECU question

I have a 95 Dakota v6 Manuel I've been trying to find a ECU for it but the one for my year is hard to get ahold of my question is will one from a 94 with the same options work even if it has a different oe number on it. The one from 94 is easy to get from an auto parts store it just says it fits a 94 only in the compatibility page. Plz help thank you

yup. should be fine. I gotta look, I had one for a 94 or 95 auto in the garage, I ran a 5 speed in my 93 which still had its auto trans ECM and ran fine.

I was thinking the same thing but I didn't want to buy one from work and install it then not be able to return it if it doesn't work.

I have ~8 or 10 various computers (all pre-96 Dodge) out in the garage, one I know was a fresh looking Mopar reman that came from either a 94 or 95 (I *think* it was out of a 95) Dakota w/a V6 and auto, that I happened across in a boneyard, I pirated the hood and the brand new looking rotors off of that truck.....
I also (had?) a Mopar Perf for a 94/95 with a V8 and a stick.....
