If it's the part you need, just cover the shipping cost. Is it the driver's side or passenger? I'll take a photo to confirm it's exactly what you're needing.

Anyone have a scrap truck parting out?
The ground points are actually the center bolt of the metal plate that goes from the dash under the radio, to the floor (the center dash mount), and on the driver and passenger side, to the mounts at the bottom of the dash, behind the kick panels. The center one is known to go bad, and people will often just connect that one wherever they find a place.

what are the odds of it just being a blown bulb? it worked for about a day, then went off again after probably 5 times turning the headlights on and off.

Sorry...I ended up having to use the Passenger side, as my original had a broken tab that I didn't realize. It's the tab that shares the common mounting hole with the grill, so it's not necessarily needed (there are three other mounting holes) but in that I'm restoring the truck, trying to be perfect on mine. You can have my original one with the missing tab...it's been freshly painted flat black. Let me know if you want it.

It could be a blown bulb where the filament has detached from one side, and depending on luck, lies back onto the node to re-light...but that's highly unlikely.

that's perfectly fine with me! im hoping one that doesnt have the breaks and cracks will repel water that goes under the hood when driving in the rain.
