New to me Dakota problems
Just bought my 1st dakota. 1994 V6 4x4 5speed. Having a couple issues and looking for some help
-tachometer works sometimes at random, no horn when it's not working
-abs and park break and stuck on. Seems that previous owner took out relay and fuse related to abs
-really bad belt squeal started today. First only when I stoped now all the time very loud. No clue how to diagnose this or where it's coming from.
Any help would be very much appreciated! Any suggestions or tips welcome. Thanks so much

On the belt squeal- You can replace the belt. I did and the squeal came back and I replaced the tensioner and it came back. Finally I cleaned the belt with brake cleaner and a plastic brush to clean up the felted grooves on it and then while it dried in the sun I cleaned the grooves on all of the wheels it ran over with brake cleaner, wire brush and emery cloth all the way around each individual groove. It lasted a year (belt wore out) and I put on the expensive new belt the name of which I cannot recall. CRS ya know. Ralph P knows it he recommended it. I theorize the squeal was as much the dirt and rubber stuck to the wheels as it was the belt slipping.
There's no relay associated with ABS that I know of...Unless something changed from my 90 to 94. The fuse for the ABS controller (Fuse 10) also feeds the flashers/hazards, so are those working? The ABS system consists of a controller behind the instrument panel on the right hand side, and a Dual hydraulic solenoid valve mounted to the frame near the rear drivers side wheel. And a speed sensor from the differential. If you want ABS, make sure all these are connected and in working order.

Thanks to everyone who replied, turns out the bearing in my water pump went. Replaced the belt and pump and all is well again. Still have abs and break lights on aswell as my front left driving light not coming on, changed the bulbs Didn't do anything. Thanks!
