Just replaced the engine in my truck. New plugs, wires, rotor and distributor cap. Ran fine before the block cracked. Now the truck cranks like a champion but will not start. Fuel is getting to the carb. anything I should check?

Check spark.
Check timing (verifying that Cylinder 1 on the distributor is indeed connected to the spark plug in Cylinder 1, not its mate).
Spray a bit of fuel into the carb (or some starting fluid), make sure it's not that the carb is failed and not passing any gas.
