i have a 92 dakota v8 club cab . I was looking at torsion keys and longer shackles for suspension lift the kit I saw said 1 to 3" of lift with that combo. Any suggestions there?? Also I'm looking at a 2" body lift to combine with the suspension lift the kit I'm looking at only has the blocks and bolts. What else needs to be done? Do I need bumper brackets to raise the bumper? Extended brake lines or steering shaft extend? Any help with my questions is helpful thanks

rear shackle flip nets 3-3.5 ...

I modded my front factory torsion keys.. netted 3.5 max I could get before alignment was no longer possible .. enxtended shocks from a chevy something or other (sorry been a few years and a couple jeeps ago since I had my 92 kota.. )

and 2 inch body .. NOW I had to modify pinch welds in the fenders and lower parts of fender and rocker area, along with the fact your gonna need offset rims with atleast 4.0 backspace, or wheel spacers to get them out and this point you will also need to modify the lower valance on front bumper if its still there or the tires will rip it off, I had a custom built winch bumper so.. along with modded or lower front bump stops, and down travel is limited.. as posted among other threads its beat to death here .. lots of info

the wheel wells are only 32 inches wide.. you will need roughly 35 inches when turning to clear so keep this in mind with height and suspension travel .. I ran 33X14.5 boggers..


regardless in the end your up travel is limited by tires being bigger then fender width.. and down travel will be almost nil.. (edited )
