Default Wiper blade problem

I've already had the driver's side arm fall off, the threads inside and on the spindle are shot. The passenger side is working on it. As of now they are both working, but they keep fluctuating how fast and where they come down, if that makes sense. So should I replace the whole thing or just the arms? If the whole thing, where should I get parts and how to replace? What vehicles have wiper assemblies that fit this truck?

Also, the passenger side washer nozzle isn't spraying.

Thanks

Well, if the splines are worn off, yah, the arm position will change.

But the arm falling off is not necessarily the splines; there's a catch to hold it on (that piece you push over to release the arm) and if that's broken, it'll keep coming off if the splines are in perfect shape.

As to the arms - the Dormans I've seen had poorly formed splines and therefore I'd put those on "Rated 0 of 10. Would not buy again." I picked several up from the boneyard and used the two best for my truck; using arms from Jeeps and Dakotas both.

Any particular year models to look for or is it pretty universal? Also, what about that passenger side nozzle, could that just be gunk clogging it?

Close.

The only PERFECT fit is 1987-1996 Dakota; but there's others that fit Good'Nuff.

Measure the length of the arm itself and match both that and angle.

Again, I found several on Jeeps of about the same vintage.

Could be. Try shooting some air pressure back through from the nozzle. If you don't have an air compressor shoot a tiny bit of wd40 or similar through it. If that doesn't clear it you may want to check the hose to see if something's going on with the connection to that nozzle.
