1994 318 dakota upgrades
I have a 1994 dakota with a 318 and an automatic. I want to find some aftermarket upgrades for it, but don't know where to look. Can anyone tell me where i can find engine, transmission, and other general performance parts?
Where are you located? TX?
Mopar PCM would be a good 1st step. Replace the stock air filter with a drop in K&N. Remove the plastic rainguard in front of the intake tube - it is located behind the grille. Pick up a junkyard TB and port/polish it, or buy a Fastman one. M1 intake is nice, I like mine. High flow cat and good muffler helps. Run a single 3" exhaust. Headers or pick up a set of 92-93 stock exhaust manifolds. They are larger than later years. You will need the matchint y-pipe as well, or make your own. 1.7 rockers are nice on a stock cam. That should get you started.

Summitracing.com sells most of that stuff, and you can order some of it straight through mopar but it may cost more. JEGS sells the M1 intake

You will get a better deal on mopar stuff from other sources though:

www.socaldakota.com
www.krcperformance.com
I got my M1 and headers from mopartsracing.com. Good service, price and fast shipping.
