So finally got my parts truck home today. Got the parts I needed stripped off of it. Dist cap, coil, coil pickup, wires, tensioner, the belt, and finally the computer. Now my 93 has a computer code that ends in 7848, the one I put on is 7141. I've heard alot of people say that putting a computer with a different code will make the truck not run as good. The computer I used was out of a 92 4wd 5.2. same truck as mine. Different year tho. But this thing sounds like a cammed 440 that's been straight piped. Gotta get the frame and such finished up and get all the rear suspension together. My parts truck has good floor pans so I'll be doing some cutting and welding here soon. Gotta fix a couple of the cab mounts as well. They're not holding up too good
