Then yes, the compressor isn't running at all internally.

Which means the seals have blown inside.

Which means a 100% flush of EVERYTHING; replace compressor, thermonic expansion valve, and receiver/dryer; and PRAY you can find the high pressure hose due to the muffler on it not being purgeable.

(There's enough restriction in the lines that they SHOULD show SOME variance in pressure. I'm still curious what pressure they were SHOWING, and what it shows with the motor off, no compressor action.)

The best I can remember, both gauges were showing at about where 9 would be on the clock. That was with the truck running and the a/c wide open.

Yah, I got that NAPA's is obsolete also. Le sigh.

So time to hit the boneyards and then the hose company. I think I'm about to get hosed ...

(Don't fuss too much, yesterday was Father's Day, and I'm a Granddad - my Dad Jokes are actually GrandPa jokes and a generation worse!)

As to your gauges - 9 o'clock doesn't tell me jack squat. What PRESSURE was indicated? (My nephew has a set where 0 is at 9 o'clock; another where 40 on low and 200 on high are both at 9 o'clock. And do notice, THEY SCALE DIFFERENTLY. Look for the ACTUAL pressure on the gauge.)
