Default 88 Dakota 3.9 V6...What part is this?!?
This part is located right above the ignition coil on my 88 Dakota 3.9 V6. It has a wire running back down one of the studs on the ignition coil.

It's a condenser.

It's the ignition noise suppression condenser/capacitor.
