Like any other bulb.
Remove knee guard under steering column.
Remove dash surround.
If automatic, carefully remove wire from steering column to PRNDL.
Remove instrument cluster (note: Try pulling it out carefully until you can either reach the socket, or until you can release the speedometer cable on a 1993 or earlier; 1994-1996 use an electronic speedo, so that isn't needed there.)
Twist the socket 1/4 turn, remove socket.
Pull bulb out.
Put new bulb in. Note: If you are installing a LED, carefully verify polarity.
Reverse the above.
Option 2: Instead of removing instrument cluster, remove clear lens cover; then pull the bulb out the front and insert the new bulb.
I suggest some dielectric grease ("bulb grease") to help knock possible oxidation down.
