Default Relay fuse issue

I have a 1993 dodge Dakota sport. About a week ago I bought two 5-prong relay fuses and replaced them both with new ones. Truck started right up and I drove it to and from work for a couple days. About 25 miles in total. Then it just broke down at an intersection and wouldn’t start back up. I towed it home and went back to the store and bought two more of the same fuses and popped them in and wahooo it started right up again and I drove it to work the next day and the day after. Now, once again it has broke down on me... what is going on?? What would cause fuses to short out like that? Hoping this is another simple fix...

5 prong relays aren't fuses. Fuses aren't relays.

Can you explain exactly WHAT you're replacing, possibly with a picture?
