Default front mount trailer hitch reciever..

does anyone know of a front mount trailer hitch receiver made to fit the 1st gen's??.. have brushguard but no mount made on it for a winch..thanks..

There isn't any. I want to say some have fitted a front hitch for.a 2nd gen to a 1st and that it required some modifications. I swear there was a post here on it somewhere

You can get a receiver tube and weld it to a bracket. Mount the bracket under the front bumper and you're good to go. I had one on a Jeep Cherokee once and it makes putting a trailer in a certain spot really easy. I have neck and back trouble and can't turn too well.

I noticed that Hazard Fraught had a couple of "Step Bumper Hitch Receiver"s at the local store - a $20 and a $30 one.

(I could have used that for my wife's scooter carrier ... Oh, well.)

That's what I've done a few times. It bolts right to a flat plate. Handy for moving trailers around.
