Default Exhaust manifold

I have a 95 Dakota 3.9 and I've been looking for a set of 93 3.9 exhaust manifolds. I finally found some, but now one question I have is should I also increase the exhaust pipe, I believe 92-93 also had in addition to larger exhaust manifolds but also larger pipe. Another question is how will the O2 sensors be affected?

Thanks

Yes, use the larger piping; that's one of the main advantages of the 92/93 manifolds.

I'd use new O2 sensors, but there won't be any affect worth mentioning.

,Id like to find 2 barrel Super Six setup (both manifolds) if possible.... if not 2 sets. if not for my '85, definitely for my son's '80 stepside. (I "could" put the super 6 on his, then put the old one from his onto mine---- right now, I just need "something" to bolt on this engine, so I can hear it run... I got the intake and exhaust manifolds (with the all important Ram hood ornament) the day I gave the PO $100 to "hold it for me for a week and pull the 'for sale' signs from it". and hauled the rest of the truck home a week later.... they said the gasket between the manifolds went bad (again "they said") so they pulled the manifold stack, busted the bolts off and someone drilled thru and thru, the hole inboard of the carb is about 3x bigger than it needed to be---- originally this was a "blind hole" into the exhaust manifold.... from what I can see, the original 1 barrel intake is undamaged, could bolt that to another exhaust manifold "to get me by" for now...…

I can't help you with Slant 6 manifolds, I'll keep my eyes open for them. I'm kinda kicking myself for getting rid of mine.

I went to the junkyard today to get the exhaust manifolds, but couldn't get them, forgot my hacksaw and I don't have a cordless sawzall, ugh. Anyways, I saw the 93 that I was getting the manifolds off of and a 95, and the size of the two looked relatively the same. What size was the 93? Did the intake manifold size increase also or just exhaust? Would it be worth it to get the intake also?

The 93 was the last year of the 3" exhaust system. IDK that they changed the heads but they made the holes in the exhaust manifold smaller in the 94+ and shrunk the Y pipe down to 1.5" or 1.75" ish. The Y I replaced looked tiny to me.

Default Possible that I'm posting in the wrong place

But I was trying to find out what sits underneath the exhaust manifold on the passenger side on the rear of the block, Right next to the transmission fluid dipstick. I had a bolt hanging halfway out that didn't look like It was intended to bolt anything down is it possible that it might be for a ground... If it's easy to get some pictures I'll post them what I figured since you guys ready deal with your exhaust manifold have an idea what it was I was talking about. I appreciate it

Quick edit I'm doing with the 5.2 l so maybe I am in the wrong place? Thanks again

Pics would be nice; also what year your truck is, and auto or manual.
