89 Dakota I replaced my fuel pump and have the fuel line disconnected before the fuel filter for testing. Installation when pretty smooth and it gets power although does not spit out any gas. Note truck sat for a long time and the gass went bad so I started by draining the tank and getting a new pump. Any help would be appreciated

 

Reversed polarity at the pump. It may be running backwards.

Make sure it still has a ground.
