Default Transmission Mounts

Does anyone have any idea where the transmission mounts bolt onto the 4x4 A535 manual transmission of my 1988 dakota? About 6 months ago I removed the transmission to rebuild synchro's and I can't for the life of me figure out where they bolt to.... I ordered replacement parts Anchor 2668 and Anchor 2667. States that they are for a 4wd under manual transmission on the rockauto part list.

In addition to this, are there any other mounts that bolt onto a 4x4 manual transmission?

Anyone have a clue? Thanks!

I would first pill down th 86 87 truck parts list from the link in the FAQ and search for the Mopar part number. I would for you, but am on my cell phone for a whike, until I get home

Mopar #4412162 bolts to the manual transmission from the parts list. That then bolts to the Anchor motor mounts, 2 of on each side, so you'll need a second pair.

I apologize for earlier saying 86-87; for a 1988, you need 88-89.

Take a look at drawing 9B-1100 - I'll attach those two pages here as a single page PDF.

Turns out that whoever worked on my truck customized the plate for the transmission. The concept was the same. It just didn't look like the way it was designed by dodge. The mounting plate was fabricated.

So yeah 2 uppers and 2 lowers. One on each side of the plate, and center portion of plate bolts to transmission.

Thanks!
