My 1988 dakota has leaf spring plastic shims, insulators? Does anyone who where to get these still? Nothing on rock auto. Maybe I can substitute with something else?

Thanks!

I'm going to bet the wear pads; I need to find me some teflon ones for when I get my springs rebuilt!

Yeah believe they are wear pads. I think they might be teflon too. I have no idea where to find these damn things.

Or atleast the correct ones for my dakota.

My leaf springs appear to be fine otherwise, not worn out.

Check the link again. It should fit your truck as long as your springs are 2.5" and the wear pads have one button. I saw two button pads when i was searching as well.

Okay perfect. Thank you for that. I thought those were hyperlink adverts.

There is also a plastic shim which goes between the leafs and the center bolt runs through. Is that also an insulator/wear pad?

I think the parts manual calls it an "interliner"
