1992 Dakota LE 3.9 liter V6.
Trying to figure out how to remove the MAP sensor. There are no thru screws to throttle body. Appears to have a "clip" holding it in place.
Is that all there is ?
1st one in 28 years. Need to clean or replace
Thanks

There's a clip on the wiring harness; after that's removed, you should be able to see the screws.
Do you have the new one? It may help visualize where all the screws are.
I'd suggest sticking with a Mopar MAP sensor; but take that with a grain of salt, my Dakota (a 1988) has been running on a NAPA sensor for about five years now.
On my 94 3.9 there is a rod connected from the top of the alt that is in the way. It has to be undone on the TB side and the other bolt loosened and rotated out of the way to get the Torx Wrench in there.
There are several MAP sensors for 92 through
95. Mine looks like this. Small clip, slightly offset to the right of center. No visible screws anywhere.
Would like to remove for cleaning but worried about the connecting pick up tube to the module. Don't know if its plastic or metal. If plastic, it could fall apart after 28 years.
The elbow is a kind of rubber. Looking at the last picture the 2 Torx screw holding it are under the bottom of the sensor screwing horizontally into the TB. They come out the same direction that vac hose you will probably have to pull off does. Look at this link to see picture of it. You should be able to work it out EDIT-the top one in the list for these 92 5.2L MAP sensors looks like the style you have. That is the same style on my 94 3.9 Better yet here is the correct link for your vehicle, no guessing
