Default Transmissions

Hi, does anyone know if you can fit a 46rh 4x4 in a 94 dodge Dakota v6 3.9L? Or does any other transmission fit in there?
The truck I have is a 94 dodge Dakota v6 3.9L 4x4
I really need some help here.

It should fit. Ideally needs to be a 92 to 95 one, since older 46RHs won't have the notch for the crank sensor in the bellhousing area.

What's wrong with your current transmission?

Might be better to rebuild the current one instead.

The transmission would start to slip once it got up to temp. I actually bought a rebuild kit and had it almost all the way done and went to do the rear servo and found the bushing on the very end was really screwed up. (See the photo) there was metal shavings all over the bottom of the pan and I was really confused (until I saw the bushing)

My cousin had it before me and was hauling hay in the back and as you know these are really meant for that haha. I tried to revive the trans with some seafoam and a fluid flush and it worked for about 6 months.

The main problem with a 46RH is that 1st gear isn't as stiff as the 42RH/44RH 1st gear; you'll lose some torque when coming off the line (leaving the red light, leaving house, leaving work, etc.)

That bushing should be available. I'd finish the rebuild.
