Smile Front shocks

I own a 1993 Dodge Dakota 4x4 V8 LE and it needs all 4 shocks replaced. My question is what would the best shocks to replace them? I've replace a lot on this truck and would like to get something that will last a long time.

I had better luck with the KYB Gas-A-Just than anything else I've tried. HOWEVER - I've only also tried Rancho ES5000 series; they're too soft for my tastes in a truck.

I get about 100,000 miles on a set of shocks, but I probably should replace sooner.

They're not THAT hard to replace; I'd not run too long before I replaced them.

Plus, typical 4x4 action will ruin a set of shocks quicker than my "Drive down interstates" driving.

You may want to look for Bilsteins or something similar for your truck.
