95 dakota - Code 45
I have a 95 dakota with 323000 miles on the 318 v8. One day about 4 years ago i noticed it ran a little rough for a brief moment before i parked it. Then one day i went to get back in it to go somewhere and it would not start. I'm getting it to turn over but its not getting spark. Ive done all i could research as follows. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position censor, and checked the splice under the relay box. all good. still no spark.
Fast forward to now, i went and got an obd1 and 2 scanner. I'm getting code 45, but it dont have a turbo? At this point im leaning toward a dead PCM. Any input would be appreciated. I am not a mechanic by any means, just a DIY guy that tackles what he can. I send the rest out thats over my head. I'd really like to get this truck running again. Any input would be appreciated.

Huh?
Code 45 has nothing to do with a turbo.

It's a transmission error, not a turbo error.
The 1995 FSM is available from a link in the FAQ message (about 40% of the way down); I'd grab that extract it and start studying up on that.
I notice you didn't do the ASD relay; do you get fuel pressure or not?

Yes, it has 38lbs. Should i check the relay despite having a reading on the fuel rail?
ASD on a 1995 doesn't do the fuel pump, it's its own relay.
But yes, swap the two relays (fuel pump and ASD) and see if you reprime the fuel pump after bleeding the pressure off.
Past that, download the manual.
