Default Fire wire problem

My friend has a 93 3.9. He was fixing something and had a little fire. The wires to the distributor took the worst of it. Now he has no spark do any of you know where I can get a wireing diagram?

From the factory service manual.

Bishko Books has them on disc (and Bishko is the authorized reseller); you can also quite often find them on paper used on Ebay. (Bishko also has paper copies, but the price ... WHOOO boy! A used laptop and the disc version will run you about the same ... )

Bishko Automobile Liturature available for 1993, Dodgetruck, Shop Manual (autobooksbishko.com)

(As I type this, the used copies on eBay are pushing $100 ... NOT my recommendation!)

In the FAQ here they have the 1995 FSM downloadable (well, actually, a link to a Google drive repository with the manual); however, I'm not sure off hand how close the wiring is. May be a good first hit.

Go about 40% of the way down.

I'd also grab the parts list, and also the OTHER Dakota parts lists (some parts were abstracted to a higher level assembly - for instance, the 1986/1987 parts list shows all the sub parts for the wiper transmission, and shows the assembly part number - the 1996 parts list only shows the assembly part number, and not the bushings that are failing with age in our trucks.)

I'm still wondering how your friend had a little fire ...

I've been cleaning and organizing around the house for a while. If I can find it, I bought a '93 Dakota new and got the factory manual when I did. It was so different than what I'd been working on, I wanted the book at hand. There are 2 or 3 places it could be. If I can find it, I'll try to take a picture of the relevant pages with my phone and post them here.

I am not sure of the details but knowing how he works on things and he was having problems with his fuel pump I Can Only Imagine
