Fan blower dead
Hello guys again
my Dakota 93 3.9 4wd
today I tried to start the fan blower because the temperature drops a lot but nothing happen
i have already ordered the resistor for warm air but the motor doesn’t start at all levels.
I found this connection bellow the ash tray and it is unconnected as you can see with some of wires already cutting
is this the fan motor connection OR where I have to look OR what I have to look to start the motor
thank you

That's a radio connector.
First, check at the resistor - do you get any voltage there when you check the 12V in line? With it connected, if you backprobe, do you get voltage?
Do remember the switch and resistor is in the ground path to the fan blower motor.
If you don't have voltage there, and you may want to check this first, check your blower motor fuse or circuit breaker.
According to the factory service manual, that's fuse 1, 30A, in the dash fuse block.
The blower motor itself has a connector under the dash, kind of wrapped around the HVAC plenum, with two wires.
They're bigger (12GA) wires, so that helps locate them some.
Check that out first, make sure the blower motor itself hasn't quite.

Thank you Ralph for your fast response
1) the resistor is complete rusty and I’m waiting to arrive the new one
2) the fuse is good
i thought in cooling position fan panel it can work the motor at least to see if it is working motor or not
now I have to check the resistor wires if I have power first
if I understood well
